Origin 2016 Rosé
Austrian Rosé! This wine is produced solely from fruit off of our research vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. Reds were pressed after 48 hours maceration for color, and the Grüner was then destemmed on top for whole berry fermentation in the red juice. Pressed again after one month skin contact (Grüner), and aged 4 months in neutral oak. 50 ppm SO2 addition before bottling, unfined and unfiltered. Varietal composition: 60% Blaufranksich, 17% St. Laurent & Zweigelt, 23% Grüner Veltliner.
